Originally from The Dominican Republic.
Currently in London, UK.
Hello, I'm Julietta Daidone van den Berg - a UX Designer that graduated with honours from The Hague University in The Netherlands, and currently doing an MA in UX Design at Regents University London.
I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I had a unique upbringing, being raised by a Dutch mother and Ethiopian/Italian father, on a farm for 13 years with my 3 siblings.
My home was a corridor for people coming from all over the world, this was because my mother has an international company. Being a part of and exposed to so many different cultures, I learned that everyone has a different perspective on life and a story to tell. It's important to be curious, open to change and different ideas.
I have always been a creative person and have been told that I see things that are not obvious to everyone. Putting these experiences and gifts into practice, I found UX design. I found a love for psychology and design. I became fascinated with the way people think, feel, and behave - and how products could help them live more fulfilling lives.
Outside of design, my favourite pastime is playing any kind of simulation or design-oriented video games. When possible, I love exploring new countries and cultures to learn from. More recently I have been focusing on my physical and mental health.
